Privacy

A short summary of what we collect and why. Please review this with your data protection adviser before launch.

When you write a review

• Published: your display name (or “Anonymous”), your rating, title, review text, the service and the month of your experience.
• Not published: your email address, used to verify your review and, if needed, to contact you about moderation.
• Security: a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used to prevent spam and abuse. We don’t store your IP address itself.

Postcode searches

When you search by postcode, it is sent to postcodes.io (open data from the Office for National Statistics) to find your council. We don’t store the postcodes you search for.

Cookies

We use one essential session cookie to protect forms from misuse. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
